An on-going family owned and operated company, our founder Francis Owens was a pioneer in the plastics industry manufacturing parts, for both civil and military projects, others said could not be molded.  His skills have been taught and passed down to the next generations and we take pride in accepting projects requiring exacting detail.  Frank's expertise was the foundation of our company and the current management team makes every effort to continue that legacy. 

In 1978, upon the passing of our founder, Gloria S. Owens assumed the management role and Owens Plastic Products, Inc. became 100% woman-owned. 

In 2005, we earned our ISO 9001/2000 Certification distinction and have successfully re-certified since then. 

In July 2007, we worked with the management team of Mechanical-Shaw, Inc. (a 100 year old company who closed its business) to transition many of their customers into our business.  In doing so, their closing was virtually seamless to our new customers and resulted in uninterrupted productivity.

In October 2007, OPP expanded its business offering to include thermoset injection molding with the purchase of an 80-ton Hull press.

It is the objective of OPP's management team to continue to grow our offerings while constantly manufacturing quality parts for our customers, whom we are grateful for placing their trust and business with us.
